Mail errors
Errors in Sending Mail :
Each time I attempt to send an e-mail I receive the error message:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: Server 'mailserver' Protocol: SMTP, Port 25, Secure(SSL) No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number. 08x800CCC0E
Answer :
You are being blocked by your access provider - To make a long story short, call your Access provider and make sure your smtp settings match what they will allow. Hopefully this will alleviate your socket error 10060.
Your Access ISP has decided to restrict outgoing SMTP mail to their own server only.
You rejected my mail :
Mail is rejected for the following reasons only :
- Message was formated incorrectly for the mailserver to understand
- We have placed a block, due to excessive SPAM.
- The sending IP does not have the correctly configured reverse, by the registrant of the IP class.
- Your Ip is contained in an RBL showing that it is responsible for sending SPAM.
- The Spam databases we make use of, are {
- sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org http://www.spamhaus.org
- list.dsbl.org http://www.dsbl.org
- bl.spamcop.net http://www.spamcop.net
- spam.dnsbl.sorbs.net http://www.sorbs.net
- You can go fight with them to get your IP unblocked.
